Have swapped out all hardware: processor, trunk cards, station cards, etc. Static has occured at all phones, I do not think power supplies would be the problem.
Stactic is only on inbound calls and only my customer (the receipent) hears the static. Since a typically buttset is more tolerant then the system is there another method to test the lines which would be less tolerant?
Recently installed an IP 500 (rel. 5.0.15) with 6 digital phones and VM Pro for a customer. Customer has 4 analog lines provided by Verizon Vios. Every few inbound calls the user gets static for 3-5 seconds. Tested the lines with a butt set on the providers end and did not get any static...
