Hi, don't know if you are still trying to resolve this problem but we were having a similar problem (ie, 0x80070005 Access is denied).
We found there are a couple of settings in Local Security Policy on the XP box (Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Local Policies > Security...
Thanks for your reply Justin, I have found what happened.
The "utility" Jobs were originally being logged lower down the list but the list subsequently got re-ordered by date. To revert to the original order I had to select the "Class" column heading and then View > Refresh.
Does anyone know how to prevent certain types of Jobs being logged in Activity Monitor?
Until quite recently only "major" Jobs were being logged (ie, "Backup", "Restore" & "Cleaning") however the software is now logging "Import", "Export" and "Unlock" Jobs.
