We are currently using sendmail to pop and imap mail.
Anyone out there know of a product that interfaces/works in conjunction with sendmail and allows users to access their mail via a web browser??
Anyone have any experience/comments about using Suse Linux Open Exchange server??
thank you
Not sure if this will help but make sure your server name and/or ip address is in the following files:
Location is the file location on my server so yours may be different:

Anyone have or know where to get the script to have procmailrc send a vacation message to everyone EXTERNAL to my company but only send one message to INTERNAL users. I'm aware procmailrc can be setup to send one email response to all users and then cache the email addresses so further messages...
Any kernel gurus out there experienced a problem compiling IP_CONNTRACK_FTP into the kernel and getting the module to load properly??
I am currently using a 2.4.16 kernel and I have compiled in all modules relating to ftp masquerading. The problem is this server is our firewall and our ftp...
I would like to replace our internal NT file/print server with a linux machine. A couple concerns with the Linux machine are printing and backup.
1.) Does anyone have any information/links on whether cups, etc. can be configured to use printers ON AN HP Print Server. Most documentation...
IFINCHAM: imaps is on according to chkconfig. Error message I am getting is xinetd[26219]: Bad line received from identity server at 21.21.9.6: Prior to getting ipop3s working I got the same message. I'm thinking it is the SSL certificate on the mail server for the imapd but I haven't been...
Anyone successfully configured or know where the link is to explain this. Scenario: Running a new install of Redhat 7.1 with xinetd. I have users using both pop and imap. The pop3s stuff works fine with ssl but I can't get the imap users to get incoming mail. They are able to send email...
I have an NT server sp6a that has an onstream tape drive installed in it. I am using the ntbackup utility to back up information to the drive. It can backup files off the NT server no problem. What I want to do is to be able to backup files off a client (internal company backup machine)...

I have a 1.5GB drive with Redhat on it. I want to copy everything on the small drive to a larger one within the same box. Then I would like to use the big drive as the primary and remove the small drive. What do you think is the best way to accomplish this??
Kudagai,
Initially I did set it up with two boot floppies as a last resort but I was able to get this working. I copied the vmlinuz-* from the boot floppy of the Redhat 5.2 system to the /boot directory on the hdb (Redhat 6.2) drive and ran lilo. It was able to reference anything it needed...
I recently added a 20GB hard drive to a system that already had a 6.4GB hard drive (hda - master) with Redhat Linux 5.2 installed. After installing Redhat 6.2 on the new drive (hdb - slave) I can't seem to configure Lilo properly so that it sees the boot image on hda. I was configuring lilo...

In our case we changed the mouse specifications in /etc/X11/XF86Config to PS/2 instead of Intellipoint and it seems to work fine now. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
I have a Win98 box and a Redhat Linux 6.0 box sharing a CPU switch. When using X on Linux the mouse (3 button Microsoft PS/2) works fine and when I switch to the Win98 box the mouse works fine, however, when I switch back to the Linux box the mouse acts erratic and is basically useless. If I...
We are using Redhat 6.0 and have noticed that when aliases are added, deleted, edited using Linuxconf it overwrites the most current aliases file with an older file it gets from somewhere. Any lines in the aliases file with multiple includes are concatenated. It only keeps the first include...

Thanks for the directional tips. Tried the majority of your suggestions and things seemed to be working fine. Then upgraded a couple of the users to the most current version of IE5 (which included Express) and they don't seem to have the problem any more. This was unusual...
