sun server 220R <2 hard drives>
Hi, I recently inherited a 220R server pre-installed with Solaris 10. I was told that the server has 2 hard drives installed in it. specifically i was told "computer has 2 hard drives. one for os and one for apps". what does this statement mean? Hi, quick update: i have changed the boot-device to 'disk' by using following command: OK> setenv boot-device disk Still, when i hit ctrl+pause or ctrl+break , the #(root)prompt does not come and the OK prompt stays. Thanks, Sam- samsung42

Hi, I have tried 'setenv auto-boot? false' and then booted the server again.. but the problem persists- goes back to the OK prompt. I have also tried 'setenv auto-boot? true and rebooted the server... same issue. Please advise. Thanks Sam- samsung42
