NT PPES .mdc object locks
Not strickly speaking a Cognos issue but closely related, any help would be appreciated as this is stopping the automation of model builds/ updates. some .mdc files are being locked on the NT server where PPES resides, do not know what is locking them as there are no visible processes etc...- nessie

Emulating Special Characters - in Polish
am working on a project to bring a Polish based company onto our AS/400 systems, have got printng etc working working but cannot get the System to represent the special characters, ie. where it should display an 'L' with a bar through it it shows a '£'(which is the correct hex value). W2k Pro. Video Driver problem from Hell!
I've got the same problem, with a Matrox G400. Installing older drivers(which were WHQL certified) initially solved the problem, but it started again recently(god knows why). It only happens when you click on the 'settings' tab in display properties.- nessie
