    I have 5 missing volumes in my TSM table, I have tried to check them in, failed. I have ran a audit and it says there are tapes that are not checked it, again failed when I try to check in.     QUICK QUESTION CHECKOUT/CHECKIN

    Hi If I do a backup and then CHECKOUT the volume and then later CHECKIN (ADD VOLUME)same volume, I notice that the Last Use column is empty now, it said data before the checkout. My question is does checking in and out volumes delete the actual data from the volume, like format the tape ? Thanks

    Hi can anyone please tell me if a MKSYSB image will contain software installed on the rootvg or will I have to reinstall software etc. Managment is trying to tell us to use a mksysb instead of a product called ERRM thanks
