    Trying to add an extension to a norstar system. ALL buttons come up with line 1, the top programmable buttons, the release button and the feature all give me dial tone. Put set on another line works OK. ext 240 and 241 act the same way. Tried copy set to no avail.

    Changed batteries last week and set backup to automatic. Getting "backup failed - insert bu card" never had one. Manual BU also fails. #124 1-2-3 0 all beep error.

    I follow all this, but when I build the hunt group the {Extension | Name} box is empty. Ip office 406 7.0(24) Manager r7 5.0 (24) I have built HG before as I have build night services. I know it'll be something simple.

    I built a dial page button on a 2420 tel set using group 200 as the destination. Group 200 is used for the night service. When nights is on the page does not work. Tried to create another group that looks like group 200 but cannot add extensions to it. Help please.

I picked up line 1 and dialed 1 to listen for noise, after about 2 or 3 seconds I heard an audible ring then a voice said 8 8 8 continuously. Tried line 2 same thing.     I don't believe this. I just went to the shop and tried it again on the Partner ACS, worked ok. Put it on the IP Office, OK. Back to the SYN with a butt set monitoring it and heard a lot of traffic, tones etc, I guess it inits. Tried all systems again things are ok. I will test for 48. But...
