None of that worked, except I didn't try "ChkDsk /r" because i didn't know how or what it does. Type it in start/run? And what does it do- Kio25

It's not in any other location, Your trick didn't work, the same dialouge box came up. And I forgot the command to delete a file in the command prompt so I didn't do that yet. However im thinking that won't work either. I really dont want to recover or reformatt because i have a lot of...- Kio25
