    it was something with windows, its only being used as a web server anyway so ive installed windows xp pro on it and all works fine!

    i get my dns from my ips's public dns servers, my ip is a public static one and is in the same subnet as my pcs, my pcs are all running fine, and i cant ping anything.... any ideas? this is really bugging me now
