Is there enough room on shelves with 4 alpha splits
Hi Thanks for the reply, it helped a lot. [thumbsup2] I have used the code above and it does count through the alpha split but it doesn;t tell me how many files are in each alpha split on EACH SHELF. The shelves are named like "Shelf 001" for example and there are quite a lot of them. The qry...- SaimaMalik

Is there enough room on shelves with 4 alpha splits
Hi I'm doing a project where i have to count the amount of files on each shelf and then count the number of files in each aplha split i.e. A-f, G-L, M-S, T-Z on each shelf. I managed to do the first bit but don't know how to go about the second bit. Any ideas????? Thanks much appreciated. :-)- SaimaMalik
