    Thanks Buckweet, I appreciate your reply. The phone I'll be using is a dial-less Viking callbox. I chose to order the one without the auto dialer thinking that I'll be able to program the port for auto ringdown service. I'll give it a shot..thanks again for your advice.. Jack

    Hello all! I'd like to know how I would go about programming a ringdown circuit using an analog 2500 port. Would this also be considered a hotline? This is on an Avaya 8700 switch. Thank you..I appreciate anyone's help and/ or input.. Jack
