Hi jeter, I'm using a straight through cable (standard patchcord pinout). Are you saying that if I put a loopback plug in the NIU on one end, the other end should show loop? I ask because I tried that to see if it would bring up the router on the other side in a loopback state, it did not. -
T1 vs. t1, S0 vs. Controller t1???
When configuring linecoding and so fourth on my Serial interface, I can choose either t1 or T1. Whats the difference? Also, instead of putting linecode commands on on the serial interface, I see it put on the "controller t1" in examples online, is this better practice, or whats the difference? -

I'm not sure if there is any other interference. I'll be out there tomorrow with 1 new router and the two originals to test. I'll connect directly to the smartjack with a short cable and see what happens. -

I'm using a straight through cable (although it is pretty long, maybe 250-300 feet), on the clock question, I tried it with one side using line and the other using internal. No luck either way. -
