Don't know whether you've already resolved your problem, but you might want to look into Vector Magic (http://vectormagic.com/home). shmoes, assuming you have admin permissions yourself, this is really easy. First, Get Info (Cmd-I) on the shared folder and click on the lock at the bottom right of the window. Sorry, Stillblue, I didn't explain well. I didn't mean it only works on closed paths, simply that I test-measured individual line segments on triangular closed paths because that would be a stiffer challenge, and rotating the copied individual line segments and rotating them to perfectly...- phoeniceus

Saving native files CS2
Dunno if this will solve the problem for you but it might. I suddenly lost the ability to save in .ai format some weeks back. No problem saving .ait, .eps or .pdf. Neither Save nor Save As to any destination worked. Tried turfing prefs, repairing permissions, reinstalling Illustrator...- phoeniceus
