hard drive crashes for the second time
This computer is a very basic model, HD, floppy, CD. I have plugged it in other outlets. I also replaced the ribbon cable to the drive. Is there something on the mobo that could be causing the problem?- jym391

Actually, I swaped a known good power supply in the computer and the power still seemed to flucuate.- jym391

Had a hard drive crash.. FAT errrors, clicking sound, then finally death. Installed a new drive in the computer, which worked fine for about a day. Suddenly the message "error writing to drive C" appeared. Restarted the computer and tried to run Norton, but got fatal execpetion...- jym391
