    newfs and bad blocks

    Does anyone know if running newfs on a partition will mark bad blocks, so they don't get used again? I get the errors below occasionally and I just run newfs on the partition, restore that specific data and keep going. I can't really reformat the drive as I'm running things remotely. just...
