I have set up several netscreen-remote clients to connect to a single subnet. Now I have a need to configure a netscreen-remote client to connect to multiple subnets behind an SSG. Generally, can someone point me in the right direction? I have read a lot of material, but I need some pointers...
Greetings all:
I am trying to set up a single ext 4612 at a remote office.
* Site-to-site VPN rock solid, good connection.
* Phone is statically addressed.
* Auto extn enable & Gatekeeper enabled
* Extension created with IP address & user assigned.
* Phone was able to contact tftp server...
Hey guys -
1) Does anyone have up to 6 users at a remote location successfully connecting back to the host site (IP OFFICE 406) either through VPN over broadband or leased T-1?
2) Do you have regular problems/support issues? Does Avaya support this?
3) Are you phones statically...
Guys -
I am trying to set up analog dial-up for remote maintenance on ver 1.4. I am following the Remote Access Setup Job Aid from 11/15/02.
* Going to use an IP in same range as ipoffice subnet, so no return ip route...?
* Modem2 card installed.
Step 1) Create a user DI (for dial-in)...
It seems from past posts that the ability to call cascade or the ability to accept/reject calls being forwarded and passed along to someone else off-site (ie, cell phone) is just out of reach for the IP office system for now and some time in the future.
Has anyone used any 3rd party devices...
Hello experts:
I have read through the forum, but I haven't seen anyone trying to do this... perhaps it's more simple than what I have tried.
What is the best way (or is this possible?) to set up a remote number (cell or home phone) that can take calls after hours, but only 1 at a time...
Is there a way to cycle through queued messages? Ideally the caller would hear different (random or sequential) sales-type messages while waiting.
I searched the forum and was surprised to see no one else had asked this. Am I missing an easy way?
Thanks in advanced.
Does anyone know where (or if it can be done) to set the outpulsed number on a PRI? The service provider says they will, by default, allow our system to override the number to be displayed for outgoint callerID. If this can be done, can it be controlled for specific users? I have two...
Experts,
The monitor log shows nothing in the calling number field & consequently no caller ID on phone. Doesn't appear to be rev problem since I downgraded from 3.0 to 2.27 just to see if callerId would work on an analog phone (I have 5420 phones, so have to use 3.0, really. I was just...
Fellow techs & engineers:
I have a T1 configured as loop start (b/c that's what the provider feeds the IP office from adtran 600R). When far-end caller hangs up, ip office end gets dial tone instead of hanging up. This problem also shows up when someone leaves a voice-mail message and...
IP406 configured with T1: I suspect both of these are related, therefore one post. The system apparently doesn't recognize when someone hangs up. For example, can call someone, then other end hangs up and I get dial tone until operator msg tells me to hang up. Same on voice-mail if someone...
Under Release 3.0, I am using a User Restriction Shortcode to control what channel a user dials out on T-1. I am using [9]N; and N# for code and telephone number. Also tried 9N; for code. The call will never complete until user presses #. I didn't see this in known issues. Has anyone else...
