I was wondering how difficult it would be to synchronize data from SQL 2000 with MySQL. I assume that XML would allow me to do this. I have done with different SQL versions but never MySQL. Is it much different?

Everytime my screensaver runs and I start to reactivate the computer - I receive a virus warning from AVG Grisoft - that a virus has been found at "C:Systems Information/"
But I cannot find that folder in my c: drive.
Also when I run AVG Grisoft or Symantics to do a complete check on...

Do I first have to unzipp this file? In RedHat what would the commands be?

Will ADO.NET make ODBC basically obsolete?
ADO/OLE-DB compliant databases are more common and much faster to access that using ODBC.
I am not sure about the equivalent standard to ADO in J2EE. There must be an alternative to JDBC.
Are there any thoughts on this?
