Well, i have installed 2003 ontop of 2000 doing the usual upgrade. everything looked to have gone fine until i came to log on the machine. On startup it now hangs on the "applying computer settings...." during the starup. This is all before you are asked to Log-in.
Could this be a service issue...
How do i find out my exchange 2000 liscene key??
i have exchange 2000 installed.. i want to install it again ona new server, but hav elsot my liscence key...
is there anyway to find out what my key is?
I am upgrading exchange 2000 to 2003. after the upgrade I will be upgrading the OS to 2003 also.
do i upgrade the front end servers first? and if so do i run the domain prep and forest prep before hand on the PDC?

My colleagues and I are looking to move the schema roles off one of our older servers. We have looked into this and it doesn't look as simple as possible. We have a 2000 native domain and are moving to a 2003 native domain.

I have 1 tape in service mode. I can find no errors which would suggest this has put itself in service mode. How can i put this tape back to the normal 'enabled' mode. Or is the problem more serious than this? any help welcome..
