Opening Office files from server very slow (opportunistic locking?)
One of our clients has a Windows 2003 Server with mainly Win XP clients. They've just been experiencing for the last week or so, very slow opening of Word & Excel files from the server. We've discovered from other forums (not Tek-Tips)it is probably to do with opportunistic locking. See: MS...- fabfour

Outlook Express attachments problem
My client is sending e-mails from home to office with a jpg attachement (and other similar e-mails with different types of file attachments); they all are being embedded into the message itself.
