My Western Digital Caviar 30.0 GB (MDL: WD300AB-00BVA0) running XP Pro SP2, froze the other day as I was scanning for spyware with Lavasoft SE Plus. I rebooted it but when it got to windows, nothing happened when I tried anything, it was frozen. Tried several times until it took about 10...- max88

"Disk Read Error"
Hard drive crashed. I bought a new one hoping to be able to recover my data files on the crashed hard drive. I have connected it as a slave to my computer but when booting I get a "disk read error" error message. I need my data files, please help!!!- max88
