    paste (from win-xp clipboard) not working

    Newly installed illus. 9.0.1 on windows xp. Anything put on the clipboard from another application doesn't show up on the illustrator art board when using paste in the edit menu. The paste option is active and copy/paste works with the elements created with the illustrator program...
