    No sound from my modem???

    After I upgraded to Windows98 - 2nd edition from Win95 I no longer hear my modem.  Use to hear the dialtone and dialing sequence.  I know speakers are ok as other sounds are coming through.  Already checked the volume on the modem through the control panel????

    Ever since I upgraded to Windows98 (from WIN95) I no longer hear my modem through my speakers.  Don't hear the dialtone or the dial sequence.
