Installing Win98
I am working on a compac, installing win98. The system locks up on the first run. on a step by step boot, it goes no further than msmouse.vxd There are no driver conflicts in device manager whilke running in safe mode. I have tried loading several times to no avail. any ideas?- Socrates101

Here is a synopsis of the problems so far. 0E:0028:42444752 (received 17 crashes, resolution is only to remove power source from computer, connect power to computer and boot up by depressing power on switch.
