My MD wishes to have Carbon Copies of all outgoing and incoming E-mails.
Quite simply, how do I set this up? Users are fully aware that he had Carbon Copies of E-mails prior to me installing Exchange, however I'm unable to locate such feature.
Thanks!
I've got an old version of Brightstor (But it works!) V9.0 build 2200 (SP2) on a Dell Poweredge 2600 with Python DDS4 Drive.
I'm attempting to restore a specific file on a tape that no longer exists in the Database. I'm sure this is possible, but how?
You see, if my Server was to die, then the...
The above switch should be added to Exchange Servers with more than 1gb Ram to optimize Exchange's memory allocation.
I've done this, however I still get the EventID 9665 in the EventLog.
I've followed all MS KB articles (it's a pretty simple fix just adding the switched eh?) and still I get...
Quite simply, I've a Dell 2800 Poweredge Server with an LTO 200/400 drive, which does a full backup everynight of itself, and a remote server (I've Exchange Agent and Remote agent installed).
Maybe a retarded question, but do I have to install _Something_ on the remote server for the backup to...
Why do these problems always happen to me?
I purchased three seperate VERITAS Products;
Full 10d Backup Software (for windows servers)
Exchance Agent
Remote Agent
I'm attempting to install Backup EXEC 10d as a default installation, on an Exchange Server. The Server has no other software apart...
When I set my Exchange 2003 Server up in May this year, I added all my contacts to the GAL, which show up fine.
I added a group of contacts - somehow, but can't remember for the life of me how I managed to add that group, nor can I remember how to add users to that group either.
Can anyone help?
A simple question, yet probably a most confusing way to go about this.
I've 16 users on a SBS2000 box, who have around 40mb each of mail, which I want to transfer to my new Exchange 2003 Server (Mark and Sniper know what I am talking about ;))
Is there a tool to extract SBS2000 mailboxes, or...
Since I had a poll back in may regarding what AntiVirus Administrators installed on their Exchange Servers, I am now interested in which Software you use for backing up your Software.
Now, I'm not sure whether it depends on what drive/media you have, but I'm getting seriously cheesed off with...
Very fundamental question....
At the moment 19 users are connected to an SBS2000 server.
I inteng to migrate them to our new server, Server 2003 with Exchange, so will need to install SQL elsewhere.
My question, how many CAL's does SBS have? Does that mean I'd need to go out and purchase 20...
Hi guys.. wondering if this is possible.
In XP Pro, you can create a defaut security policy in secpol.msc so that you're system cannot ping out. Such as you'd get "Destination Host Unreachable" if you were to try and ping anything.
XP Home edition does not have this feature. Anyone any ideas...
This is really cheesing me off.
Am I supposed to be able to log into OMA via a PC's web browser?
IF so, am I supposed to use HTTPS?
When I type https://myserver/oma I get, the usual enter username and password box. I fill them in, and nothing. It waits for 30 seconds and then asks for it...
Hi; I've got a bit of an odd'un, but I'm sure people have come across this before.
At the moment I have 31 users all on the same domain with lots of different mapped network drives. All work fine. But I'm currently in the process of setting up another domain, connected to the original domain by...
Well hello.
After my last episode of "route tables" I dread to think that I'll get any help regarding this question - LOL!
Well, the scenario is that I've got my Exchange Server up and running, and all is well. It works great, sends mail from clients, receives mail from the Internet, etc, you...
Hi all,
I'm about to purchase an Antivirus for my new Exchange server. I only have one Exchange server, and this is the first.
I run Symantec on all other servers, seems to be OK, but read a lot about others that seem to be better than Symantec.
Anyone got any input?
This question should be simple, yet I've become a retard overnight and can't figure out this little problem.
Ok, check out my network:

I am trying to get Server1 to browse the Internet. Simple?
Exodus has Windows Server 2003 R2 installed on it.
Can anyone...
Talk about being stressed!!!!!
MIMESweeper is just the worst program EVER to work with. It's worse than Microsoft products where it uses ridiculous sayings/names to describe something.
My problem is that, I've just had a new website put up for our company and customers can use the contacts...
Okay, so... I've got Mimesweeper set up as SMTP on one of my servers here and it's been going for well over a year without any real problems. except... I have a real annoyance.
Why doesn't the spam expression list match against any text that is within an incoming e-mail?
Basically, some users...
Please mount new media to continue backup"
What's the reason for this?
The system used to backup totally fine, and then suddenly wants new media halfway through.
If I could be more specific with this problem, I would, but I can't give you much more information. :(
Well, easy for some maybe but I just can't seem to get it working.
I want to link a drop down list with data. EASY.
On the drop down list (already created) i've got say:
1
2
3
4
5
and I want the next cell on the right to link in with that.
So if "1" was selected then you'd get: "Monday"
So...
Does anyone know how to put an exception in for a specific user(s)?
For example.
If John@Mycompany.com was trying to send an email to Mike@Mycompany.com how would I allow everything through without it being stopped?
Thanks.
Ian.
