cd problems after XP install
my neice is running a P4 3ghz 512MB machine. she has had OS problems ever since she bought PC. Technical support have been no use whatsoever so she asked me reinstall win xp for her (no recovery disc). Have recreated partion on disc and reformatted. not detecting hard drive
i have a western digital 60gb hard drive. when i switched on this morning i had a message 'disk boot failure - please insert system disk' during bootup. I have no floppy in the drive. I have checked the bios settings and it is not detecting the hard drive. i have tried a new bios battery...- burtysoft
