Hi - we're currently going through an RFP and have shortlisted to NetApp VTL1400 and the EMC 4206 EDL and would really like to hear what others have experienced with these. Thanks for any info you can provide (gotchas, issues, performance, etc.)
Hi, I'm running a SAN environment that has tripled in the last 1.5 - 2 years and I'm trying to get an idea of what other companies storage allocation processes are. Right now for us the request just comes through a remedy ticket and I assign it to someone but you have a lot of people stepping on...
I have an application using Windows 2003 that can only read from a single drive letter (no subdirectories so no using DFS). Does anyone know any way to make multiple drives to create 1 large drive? We are currently using a Netapp 3050c and we're trying to keep it as 2TB volumes given to the host...

Anybody have any recommendations...

Anybody have any idea...
I'm having trouble finding the cause of a consistent backup failure that seems to only be happening when a full backup is run. When it fails it says "exited on signal 9". Any info would be a great help. Thanks.
I have a client that you can see all the CFI info for all incrementals taken but for some reason the fulls do not show any files. Any ideas why this may happen? This is for all fulls, not just the last one and the indexes have not expired. Also, when I try to do an nsrinfo for that particular...
