New system : Using older IDE Drive / Processor Problem
I have a new system, with an AOPen n250a-FR mobo, with a 3700+ AMD Athlon 64 CPU. However the CD-ROM will boot to CD, I was wondering if anyone knew the compatibility with the CPU and MOBO and if that would cause the CD-ROM not to boot to CD? Won't Boot from CD
I've got a new system here that won't boot from the CD. It is set up as the first boot device, HDD is not even in the boot sequence. The screen will come up to say Boot from CD: and then it will sound like it's going to boot, however, it doesn't. The next screen that comes up is a blinking...- TornPhoenix

CMOS Checksum error-defaults loaded
