SP2 install created startup loop error
Just bought a used PC w/XP pro that had been "gutted", already got infected with spyware, so I ran spybot and adaware. Then I realized I had no SP2, so I downloaded it. VirusScan locking up on saiehook.dll
VirusScan opens with an alert box that points to saiehook.dll (I'm pretty sure saie = search assistant for internet explorer) This locks up everything in XP. Any way to tell VirusScan to ignore what seems to be an innocent file?- davidgreg99
