    checking permissons on logical volume.

    How do you check the permissions on a logical volume. Trouble is, I am getting "tar: The getwd subroutine failed.     tapeutil for AIX 5.3

    Ran into a problem.. Have a new TS3100 tape library and have installed Atape.12.1.3.0.bin. The library is now seen, but I cannot locate the "tapeutil" command. Tried a "find / -name tapeutil" and nothing is found.. Did I miss something somewhere?

    Left over files from old package. Solaris 9

    Thanks to all who helped with getting my pkgmk to work. Now I have several files left over from an old package. The package does not exist in the /var/spool/pkg any more (I deleted the thing). Where is the list of files that belong to packages kept? I would like to clean up this blunder.
