Win98 Startup- Save me from a nervous breakdown!
While installing digital camera software on my desktop, it hung and I had to shut it down. That's when all hell broke loose. Now when the computer starts, it gets to the desktop and does not display anything, no icons, no taskbar, just a background. I can move the mouse but not click anything...- colin72

Win98 Hanging at startup- can start in safemode
Windows 98SE Pentium 3, 128 MB RAM My computer is hanging during startup. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but a fuse blew at my house and so the computer shut down. The problem with startup happened right after the fuse blew and I tried starting the computer. I am able to start...- colin72
