So what's the deal with these 4606 phones I got? I Rel 11 on a G3si, already running 4620's with no problems, hooking up 4606's and they can't find the DHCP server and even is I pump in an IP they update a .bin file, flash, reboot, update, then reboot, loose all the IP settings, I pump them in...
I might migrate to an 8700/LX Intuity system. They'll use the G3 cabinets as the EPN, if I'm saying that correctly. The cost for install it about $9K with discount. What do they do to justify that much? I know there has gotta be some programming, but aren't the users just imported. I'm all ears.
Are there any third party IP wireless phones that work with the Avaya G3 system R11? I am looking at a UTStarCom F1000, but I don't know how it will interface with switch. I'm just familiar with the 4620's and SoftPhones.
I can only talk to another IP phone off site using my IP phone. If I use a digital phone, I can hear them, but they can't hear me. What do some of you use for the Duplex setting upder IP Options?? What about codec setting,is there a certian order they need to fall into?
Hope this is right. What I need to do is terminate the "A" cabinet by takingoff the TDM cable that joins the ohter cabs. Somehow I think taking a terminator off the "C" to replace the TMD cable isn't the right way. I have PKT_BUS errors and am trying to make sure it's coming from the "A"...
