    Raid 1 and 5 Config on same server- Need explanation

    I have a 2000 DC box on the network before my time w/ the co. It has 3 HD's and configured for Raid 1 and 5 according to the Dell Array Manager. How is this possible? I know you can have a nested array for 1 and 5 but would require 5 disks: 2 HDs for Raid 1 and 3 HD's for Raid5. Thanks
