    He DougStevens Thanks for that help. I got the Query going, but I'm not so hot with the macros. to be honest I know very little about them, can you spoon feed me please? What do you mean by "Set your warnings off" and how do you do it?? Thanks for the previous help.

    I want to set my database to open for five times only, i know you have to create a table within an Mde file, but when the database starts up a form is called not an auotexec file, gwinn7 instructed on how to achieve this with an autoexec file how to you do it with a form....im really stuck

    how do you go about creating that table casiuss is making to set a number of times your database will open, i see you create the table in the mde file but what next?
