120GB source data Transfer
How much time 120 GB of source data in flat file should take to load into sql server based datawarehouse through DTS as ETL. I am doing assessment for one of the datawarehouse where it takes 5 days. There are no validations , the data simply goes into different tables.- rkmibinm

Can a View act as fact table( urgent)
I am doing assessment of a present data warehouse. I am shocked to see the design. 1. Logical data model and physical data model not in sync. 2. no keys between facts and dimension ie no star join. 3. No validation in ETL. 4. No exception handling in SQL procedures. 5. Linux not going into graphics mode
I have a HP pavilion AMD XP laptop.I installed Linux 9 on it.Everything went ok but when i start linux it doesn't go into graphics mode , instead comes up with a blue window with a yes and no button.If I click no it goes into text mode and asks me enter login details.If I press yes there is an...- rkmibinm
