I have an extremely simple web page that is built with an MS Word table so that it looks approximately like a normal web page (header row, table of contents column on left (No howling, please). The rest of the page is one large cell, width = 10.57".
I would like to paste another table in it...
1. Can anyone tell me if this certification made a difference in your value in being hired or promoted in an office? Not as a trainer, but as a technical employee of some kind.
2. Do you get a printed certificate? Is there something (logo?) you can print on your business card?
3. Are you...
Can someone explain why I cannot delete a hard page return?
And what is a temporary hard page return? How does it get inserted? I don't remember doing it intentionally.
Thank you.
I have a presentation (MS PowerPoint 2002, SP 3) I am preparing for publication to CD. In order to get it through Adobe 5.05 pdf I had to remove the gradient in the background. When I did that, one of the graphics disappeared. When I tried to "grab" the picture in the original ppt to copy and...
Does anyone know how to get a graphic image to span the center pages of a pamphlet in MS word XP 2002(File>Page Setup>Margins tab>Pages>bookfold)?
Thanks.
How can I remove "Fill Effects" from a PowerPoint?
For example, in a .ppt I inherited, under Format>Background>click drop-down, choose Fill Effects, the first tab allows you to set the "Gradient." How do I get it off? There is no "clear" button, or option for 'None.
I'm almost positive that MS Access assigns a hidden sequential number to each new record as it is created.
If this is true, how do I use it in a query? I need to know (relatively) when certain records were created.
Probably a simple question, but any help is appreciated.
I thought that the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer (ppv.exe) would solve all our problems regarding the CD we are going to publish, which contains PowerPoint presentations, as well as text.
HOWEVER, ppv.exe does not understand many of the animation features that you can assign to a PowerPoint...

I printed an entire 24-slide PowerPoint presentation recently. Today I tried to print one slide from it and got the following message:
ERROR: MemoryFull

Any theories? I suspect it's from the printer (HP laserjet 4100) but I'm not sure.
Can anyone provide references to books, articles, etc. that describe MS Word from the inside out? I mean, refrences that a programmer might want to use, not a "Dummies" book. I would like to know how the darn thing REALLY works. Also, I would like a good reference to Macros and macro creation...
Is it possible to open a .PPT file in Windows that was created on a MAC? I have found references to something called BinHex 4.0, which can be used to convert the file on a Macintosh but nothing for opening the file in the Windows version.
Out of curiosity one day, I clicked on the third tab of Task Manager, the one that shows CPU usage. It froze there, the other tabs disappeared, and there were no exit or cancel buttons. I had to reboot to get out, and I haven't been able to use Task Manager since then. Has anyone else heard of...
