Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to stop shared files in a particular folder from being copied and pasted to another location?

Hi all,
We are migrating an SBS 2003 server to 2011.
All is going really well and we're almost finished.
We've got to stage where we want to demote and remove the old server from the network. However before I did this, I thought I'd just disable the LAN card to see if anything breaks.
Just...
Hi all,
We've got a server which is simply refusing external connections to Outlook Web Access.
When I try to go to https://domainame.co.uk/exchange it just times out after a few seconds.
Port 443 is definatly open on the firewall.
Internally it works fine.
Using www.canyouseeme.org with...
Hi all,
We're trying to perform a complete restore of SBS 2008.
The old server is no longer available (it was a HP Proliant ML110 G5).
Just to recover some emails from it, I thought we'd just recover it to alternative hardware, in this case a Zoostorm PC.
I boot from SBS 2008 Media, Choose...
Hi,
Is it possible to create a brand new storage group in Exchange 2003 (running on SBS 2003)?
Customer has had a major corruption issue and I'm not hopeful of getting the existing store working.
Ideally I'd like to 'drop' the existing one, create a new one and import the emails from the...
Hi all,
We have a customers server 'freeze up' and then forced the server off and booted it up again. However it was getting stuck at 'applying computer settings' and no one could access anything on the server.
I found that if I set the Microsoft Information Store service to Manual, the server...
Hi all,
We have a customer using SBS 2003 with Outlook 2010.
When they try to send out an email which is over 10MB, Outlook comes straight up and says that is exceeds the limit.
I've checked the limits in Exchange I can't see any on which would cause this - any ideas please?

Hi all,
We've got a customer running SBS 2008 / Exchange 2007.
Within the Program Files folder for Exchange, there is a major build up of .log files, which are consuming many GB's of disk space.
Is there a proper and safe procedure for clearing them out to free up disk space?
Thanks.

Hi all,
I'm struggling to get to the bottom of this one.
We have a Windows 2008 Server being used for Terminal Services by 5 users. The hardware spec is above and beyond what is required, and the processor usage is low, with plenty of free RAM.
The problem is loading Internet Explorer...
Hi all,
We've got a customer with a number of mobile devices. The iPhones are working fine picking up emails. However Blackberry's via Outlook Web Access won't connect at all. I configure the details in the Blackberry website but it just says can't connect.

Hi all,
I'm having some trouble with a Windows 2008 server. There is a group policy in place which sets all computers to apply Windows Updates every day at 1300. As a result the Windows Update settings are greyed out on the server, I would like to change this to manual.
I can't seem to find a...
Hi all,
We have a user who accesses their own email plus a number of other mailboxes using their Outlook 2010. The email lives in Exchange 2003.
Their OST file is some 10GB, which I know is large, but other users do the same without an issue.
This user on a regular basis will click on someone...
Hi all,
We've had a laptop come in from a customer who has dropped it. It was dropped flat on it's lid, so no physical damage to the casing.
The problem is that it no longer boots at all. When you plug in the power you would normally get a light on the power light to indicate it is on the...
Hi all,
I've installed Excel 2007 on a Windows 2008 x64 server, which is also configured for Terminal Services.
However Excel doesn't run.
If I click on Excel, I get the Excel splash screen and then nothing else. When I run Task Manager Excel isn't in there.
If I double click on an Excel...
Hi all,
This should be a simple one, but I can't get it working!
All I want to do is forward emails to an external email address (for example, a Google Mail address) when I'm Out of Office.
I'm using Outlook 2007 with Small Business Server 2008.
I go into Outlook and turn on my Out of Office...
This is a really strange one. I've got a customers Windows XP Pro machine which had a corrupt registry, which has recovered and now boots fine.
However the original mouse which is PS2 no longer works. I've plugged in a USB mouse and this doesn't work either.
I know this isn't a hardware issue...
