Hi, I am using CR 11 and have a sub report which calculates the number of events that have taken place. this number is then set up as a shared numbervar and passed into the main reprot for usage later.

we have an application which uses crystal reports as the primary reporting tool. to date we have used versions upto 8.5 with great sucess, however we are trying to use versions 9 and beyond but are struggling. The problem come with how the later versions of CR deals with 'wildcard' values...
we are using an ADP as a backend admin tool for a web based application. the problem we have is that the ADP uses an interal ODBC style connection setting therefore when we set it up in th eoffice we are pointing it at out local database server, however this will not be the name of the server...
