We are using an IP412 with version 3.0 software loaded, and a mixture of 4620 and 4602 phones.
With the 4602 phones, I have found that to allow call transfers, the A and B buttons need to both be configured as 'Appearance'.
Is there a way around this, as I would really like to have the B...

I just upgraded an IPO to version 3.0, and all went ok.
Only problem is now users have to type in their extension and password to collect voicemail, even when in sourcenumbers i have V[extn]. e.g V5311
The site has 45 IP handsets, 2x35 x 4602SW and 10 x 4620sw.

If you are using a Cisco PIX firewall between an IP Office unit and an IP Phone (4602, 4620 etc), you MUST disable the pix H323 packet inspection. Otherwise the PIX will drop alot of important h323/h225 packets and cause the phones to work erratically, or in the case...

Is it possible to downgrade a 4600 ip phone to a lower version of the firmware after it has been upgraded?
This may seem silly but it could come in handy for testing purposes.

Apparently Avaya have released a SIP load for the 4602 IP phone. I have searched Avaya's site high and low for the firmware, but cant find the thing (even though some doco says to download it from support.avaya.com).
Does anyone know where it can be found?

We have just installed our IP office system and are very pleased with it overall. One major problem we are having however, is with installing the TAPI driver. The TAPI function was part of the reason for our purchase of the IP Office.
We run Windows 2000/XP pc's in a 2000 AD domain...
