The window manager just stopped starting at boot-up, and the only thing i did was to configure this new install for network access.

this dell optiplex g720 is named rust. i can ping 'rust', but ping fails to the gateway '10.0.0.2'.

when I open a web-browser on my Win2K-Pro workstation (that i havent used for months), it fails with the dnserr: 'check your connection settings'. Yet I can open shared files from drives mapped to my Win2K Server just fine.

Is it less expensive to copy a multi-dim array from SESSION to a local variable, make changes (sometimes many) and then write the whole array back to SESSION, or is there no 'savings' and writing to SESSION constantly is just as good?

I have Win2K server with PERC4/Di RAID1 and 2 36gb drives with C: at 92% full, and E: with +10Gb of space beggin to get used.
