    just woundering????

    is there any type of script or command or even any way at all to make a icon on a single user pc prompt for a password on double click ? a freind asked me about this and i have no idea if something like this is possable to do with out setting up seperate user accounts.thanks

    no restart

    woundering if someone could help me out here. for some reason my win 2000 server will not restart it just hangs after the "saving your settings" and "restarting you computer" i tried to shut down all running programs..ie. zone alarm,anti-virus, back up software before restarting and it doesnt...

    console???

    i'm not sure what i am doing wrong here but i got an error when i went to open computer managment/services and apps. i went to m.s. web site and found the error i was getting. now this is where it all goes down hill. it tells me to go to "console" add/remove snap-in i can't find this console...

    hello all. quick question...someone picked up a bug here and the usal thing it is stored in system restore. turning it off seems to be the answer but were could i find the directory to where the restore puts its files so that i can get in there and delete it myself? thanks for any help on this.
