I've placed into Illustrator a tif which has a clipping path in it, however the image appears with the white background remaining. What am I doing wrong ? It is possible to import an image with a clipping path, isn't it? Thanks again!

I'm having this problem - Illy take about 3-4 secs to screen refresh whenever I do something. I don't having any placed images, complex shape etc. - just a few circles. This delay occurs when I do anything - move the screen (hand tool) select, deselect, change text, change colours etc. etc...

For example, is it possible to have multiple lines of text following the curve of a single circle, and to be able to adjust the leading between lines - as opposed to having multiple lines (one for each line of text) and having to manually adjust the leading be eye)
