    Arcserve 2000 device (tape) configuration

    Hiya, I'm currently running Arcserve 2000 with W2k sp2. Tape Hardware is a DELL PowerVault 130T, 28 slots, 4 L7000 tape drives. I can write to each drive simultaneosly, but can only perform 1 eject at a time, also I'm unable to eject a tape or perform an inventory if a backup is running...

    Problems with Arcserve jobs handling tape drives.

    I'm running Arcserve2000 on Windows2000 using a four drive Dell powervault 130t. Once 3 drives are in use the arcserve job appears to be unable to use the 4th to write data to the tape, its just seems to continually re-label any blank media in the library until another drive becomes available...

    dbdefrag 'unable to open database'

    i'm running arcserve2000, windows 2000, i've got about 4 gb free for the database unfortunately it increases about 500mb per day, the prune is running at 1200 each day, but i'm unable to run the dbdefrag command successfully. i enter .....dbdefrag -L arcserve;admin;secret Astpdat.....which...

    DLT Off-line

    After powering off (then back on) the dlt and server. Arcserve cannot pick up the drive, for instance when doing an inventory the message 'device offline' appears. The device however seems to have been picked up OK at startup.
