    Trying to count specific values in a field. Table has field named "rank" with 8 possible text values, (Military Ranks). How can I count how many of each value. I need to be able to create a report that states how many Sgt's, Cpl's, etc.

    I'm trying to create a table or whatever to calculate cadet shooting averages. Need to calculate for 30 to 40 shooters with a min of 50 scores each. Goal is to have a running average that updates as new scores are entered. Any help appreciated
