    Computers Disappearing from Active Directory

    When 2 workstations tried to log onto the domain they were denied access, after looking in active directory, I found the computers were no longer listed. So I replaced them in the directory. any ideas on why the disappeared in the first place. am running Microsoft SBS 2000.
