Can we add new VGDA into existing PV?
Dear all, I would like to know whether it's possible to add a new VGDA on an existing PV (physical volume) of a VG (volume group)? For example, if my current rootvg consists of hdisk0 (in which it has 2 VGDAs now), can I add 1 more VGDA to the hdisk0, without adding a new PV? Thanks in advanced! -

I'm new to IBM AIX. I had this AIX 5.1 release 02 right now and I would like to install it on several machines. Is there any hardware requirements that I should check 1st b4 I start installing it? For example, can AIX 5.2 be installed on RS/6000 model 140/150/170? Anywhere I can check for this...
