I'm looking for a program or script I can put on my remote users' desktops that will help us diagnose email issues.
Ideally the program would be able to:
Check for an internet connection.
Check if port 25 is being blocked by the access provider.
Ping my firewall.
Check if my smtp server...
I'm having trouble finding a USB 2.0 card that will work with the hot-swappable PCI system on the Dell Poweredge 6400.
The PCI slot will not power on with the card in the slot. I've tried 2 cards so far with no luck.

Is there a simple way to limit the total number of cookies that IE6 caches? I have a user with a roaming profile and it took him 5 minutes to log in because he had about 10000 cookies in his profile.

I'd like to put a pac file on my mobile user's local HDD and have IE reference the file whether the user is on the local network or traveling. I can't get IE to use the file when it is on the user's c drive.

I had a PIII 1GHz slot 1 processor fail. I'm thinking of replacing it with two pIII socket 370 procs using a socket 370 to slot 1 adapters. The 370s are less expensive and available at higher speeds.
Would the BIOS recognize these processors? Would the system support speeds higher than 1GHz...
