Ejecting tape after backups
Hey everyone, I know it has been a long time since I was on this forum! Another question
Ok, here is another question. We are doing some testing and it would seem we are seeing the following results. backing up 40 gig of "users" data we get about 13.34 gig/hr but if backup one 42 gig file, we get about 22 gig/hr. So, has anyone else noticed how Legato doesn't seem to like...- x2shy

One for all the NT people. Changing the following setting will help if you are monitoring you backups. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Legato\Administrator\6.0.1.Build.174\Application, change the two settings for Polling interval and Volume/Index polling interval to however many seconds betewn...- x2shy

restoring from more than one tape device
OK. Doing some testing and when I start the restore it goes and finds what tapes hold the data and then... Loads each tape one by one in a device. So, I am only gettting throughput from one device and not from say 3 devices at a time. Is this a Legato "bug" or so I have set something...- x2shy
