Hello All,
I'm looking to replace a BFT in a BCM450 R5. Does anyone have any experience with this?
From what I can gather, I'll have to regenerate the keycodes to the new System ID and I should be able to restore the config from a backup.
Any insight or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hello All,
I have a head scratcher here.
System is an IP500V2 R9.1 w/ 1 Combo Card running in basic mode (I know). 5 9508 sets and 4 analog lines.
Comcast is the carrier.
Just installed about a month ago. All new equipment. Control Unit is grounded.
Problem popped up a week and half ago...
Hello All,
A customer of mine is requesting that I replace the HD in their BCM450. They've had the system for a number of years and they're worried about the HD failing. They experienced this with a BCM400 in the past.
Is it simply taking a backup, install the new 450 R6 drive, and restore...
Greetings All,
One of my customers called and claims that just starting today, when they retrieve VM messages on a system phone, the message time shows on the display instead of the date. They prefer the date.
I've been trying to duplicate this on my bench system with no luck. The date always...
Was wondering if anyone has ever heard of or experienced this:
A quick (1 second) data burst on a Verizon POTS line exactly every 30 minutes.
When I tested, I had my butt set connected directly to the CO line. No equipment between me and the demarc.
Thanks for any ideas?
Hello all,
I have a customer with an IPO500V2 w/ 7.0.36 and an IP400 PRI card on a legacy carrier. They are using 1416 sets.
When calls come into the system over the PRI, they ring a HG which includes all phones, but only two are active. The others don't ring.
If the receptionist can't answer...
Greetings All,
Is the firmware version of an M3900 set tied to the RLS of the set?
If so, what firmware versions translates to the various RLS's?
If not, how do you determine the RLS of a set?
Thanks for any assistance on this.
Greetings All,
Was wondering if anyone has experienced the following:
Two IPO R5's, two IPO R6's and one IPO R7 all configured as an SCN. R7 has a combo card being used for the VCM's. R7 is also a new install.
When a call is made from R7 to any other IPO, they hear a click or pop noise...
Greetings All,
I just completed an upgrade from a BCM400 4.0 to a BCM450 R5 (w/ exp. cab.) using DMM. Didn't go too bad, but there were a couple of issues.
My findings:
1. All mailbox messages (not greetings) lost.
2. System had 4 GASM's in the Exp. Cab. Extension numbers that should have...
Hello All,
Does anyone know what a solid red power LED on a DSM32 means? The status LED is solid green, there are no noticeable system issues, and there are no alarms.
Thanks for your help.
Hello All,
If I have a hunt group overflow to a single extension, will the extension's forwarding rules kick in or will the system still consider it a hunt group call and disregard the extension forwarding rules?
Also, while a caller is in a Hunt Group queue, will they hear ringing or MOH if...
Hello All,
Has anyone experienced this?
Upgraded a BCM50e from 3.0 to 5.0. Followed all steps. Prior to upgrading the image, went through and tested some functionality.
Found one issue. I am unable to do a backup.
I get an error saying: "User does not have the necessary privilege to perform...
Hello All,
I can't find any info on this specific scenario. Customer has a BCM1000 2.5 at one location. Want's to install a BCM50 3.0 at new location and network the two.
As far as I can tell, as long as both sites have H.323 trunks configures, both systems will talk to each other. Does...
Hello all,
Does anyone know of a way to determine the Rel. of an M or T series phone using the version code accessible through Maintenance--Port/DN Status?
