Windows Explorer crashs

Stopping Boot Scan of removable Media disk.
I am running Norton antivirus version 4. When I boot the computer, it tries to read my removable media ORB hard disc, which is not inserted. This causes the computer to stop and let me know that norton can not scan this drive. I have to abort ( one of the options), and then it will scan my boot...- larryz28
