3.2 GHz, 400GB HD always at 55% processor
Problem Computer: 3.2 GHz Sony Vaio 400 GB HD (2 x 200 GB HDs) 2 GB RAM XP Pro version 2002 SP1 It is made for digital video editing, and it constantly runs at 55%-99% CPU power. Sometimes it dies down, but I can't even open Adobe Photoshop and Word at the same time without it freezing up...- timeline04

How to permanently remove XP Messenger
Can someone please ltell me how I can PERMANENTLY remove that stupid messenger? I deleted it out of the Windows XP Setup, using the Add/remove Programs and then XP Setup, is there a registry value I can write/remove to never start that thing again? thanks, victor- timeline04

WinME, PartitionMagic 6 only Safe mode
I joined two partitions of my HD using Partition Magic 6.0. Neither one of the partitions was the one where Windows ME is installed. Now my computer will only boot up in safe mode. What do I do?
